Ask for the fabric reference, composition, weight in GSM, weave, finish and available colors. TR twill and four-way stretch describe different aspects of a material; confirm the full specification for the selected sample.

Review it in the intended garment
Check hand feel, opacity, drape and movement with the proposed fit and color. Review the sample against the wearer’s needs. Request the care instructions and agree any wash or performance tests required for the program.

Keep an approved reference
Record the selected fabric reference and color alongside the approved garment sample. Confirm how substitutions, shade differences and repeat orders will be reviewed.
