List the garment types, intended wearer, destination market and estimated quantity. Break the quantity down by style, color and size where possible. Include your required delivery window.

Describe the product
Prepare a reference sample or technical pack. Include fabric preferences, measurements, pockets, logo position, labels and packing requirements. Mark undecided details so they can be reviewed during development.

Identify approval requirements
Name the person approving samples and artwork. Share any inspection criteria, required documents or testing requests. Ask sales to confirm MOQ, sampling terms, material availability and production timing.
